jingle bells

Confined to the house – or as much of it as I can navigate on a pair of crutches – I’m more thankful than ever for accessible, online events which fill my time and keep me from doom-scrolling through social media. Which is why the highlight of this week is going to be Ignite: a passion for books on Zoom this Thursday evening.

I’ll be sharing the virtual stage with fellow authors Ian Elmslie and Emma Purshouse, and we’ll each be talking about our lives as writers, how our books came about, and reading short excerpts from them. I daresay we’ll be asking each other a few questions, too. And I know we’ll be revealing which of the other Ignite Books titles is our favourite (I’ve already chosen mine).

It starts at 7.30pm on Thursday, and it’s completely free. If you’d like to join us, get in touch and we’ll send you the link. Then all you’ll need to do is pull up a mince pie, pour yourself a mulled wine, and pin back your ears. See you there! It’s gonna be bostin.
